About the Role
As an Operations Generalist at Westmag, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient flow of processes across multiple departments. You will work closely with teams such as production, supply chain, procurement, and quality assurance to help maintain operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support a wide variety of operational activities, including inventory management, order processing, supplier communications, and back office functions.
- Assist in production scheduling and capacity planning to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
- Analyze operational data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Help implement and maintain standard operating procedures and compliance protocols.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related roles preferably within manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic working environments.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally within hardware or electronics production.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Basic understanding of supply chain logistics and procurement processes.
