About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations for Westmag's drone motor and robot actuator production. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships to support manufacturing demands and maintain operational excellence.

What you'll own

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and demand planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and report to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the drone, robotics, or electronics manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced degree or certifications related to supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
